Laos, commonly known as Muang Lao is a Southeast Asian country landlocked by Myanmar, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Laos, soaked in rich cultural tradition, is home to atmospheric Buddhist temples, places of interest and enigmatic heritage sites. It is traversed by the Mekong River and dotted with quaint hill tribe settlements and Buddhist monasteries.
